The Lockdown International Go-Bag is a Bleeding Control Kit that contains emergency medical supplies for use in the treatment of a severe bleeding wound.  This Trauma Kit helps stop bleeding from arms, legs, head, and chest wounds resulting from a violent incident.  The kit also includes auxiliary door barricading devices and escape tools in the event of an active threat.  The items contained are used during the instruction of the Lockdown International’s Active Threat Response Plan (Avoid, Barricade, Counter, Survive).
 
The Lockdown International Go-Bag is 10.5” high x 7” width x 5” deep bag convertible from handle carry to shoulder carry or fanny pack.  The bag is designed oversized for the provided equipment, so that you can add additional or specialized items for your location.  The Go-Bag contains;

BleedStop - The FDA-approved, wound-safe clotting granules from BleedStop are a life-saving advancement for stopping any capillary bleed. This product is uniquely designed to be absorbable, and wound-safe, that clots quickly and effectively. Once applied to the wound site, the clotting granules quickly reduce blood loss and help control bleeding while allowing the natural healing process to take place without any disruptive interference.  This product works for people on blood thinners and is used By Hospitals & First Responders.
 
2 Chest Wound Seals -Designed for the management and treatment of an open and/or tension pneumothorax which may have been caused by a penetrating chest trauma. The innovative feature of these chest seals uses 4-vented channels which allow air to escape the chest cavity during exhalation but prevent airflow from entering through the injury site during inhalation. Advanced adhesive is designed to overcome obstacles, such as blood, sweat, dirt, and other contaminants.
 
R.A.T.S.® Tourniquet - The R.A.T.S. (Rapid Application Tourniquet System) tourniquet is the fastest tourniquet on the market and proven in combat. Solid vulcanized rubber core with a nylon sheath, combined with a locking mechanism that creates high efficiency.
Emergency Pressure Bandage - The Emergency Pressure Bandage is a light, compact trauma dressing designed to control even the most severe venous hemorrhaging during pre-hospital care. Unlike most EPBs on the market, a sterile pad is integrated into the wrap which makes for a quick, and easy application. The strategically placed Velcro assures that the bandage doesn’t unravel, keeping it secure without the need for clips.
 
Compressed Gauze – 4.5” x 4.1 yards of compressed and vacuum sealed medical gauze used to deal with serious bleeding. Often used in conjunction with a compression bandage. Can also be used as backing gauze for hemostatic dressings or for wound bandaging.
 
EMT/Trauma Shear - EMT/Trauma shears are a type of scissors used by paramedics and other emergency medical personnel to cut clothing quickly and safely from injured people. Designed to cuts through strong materials such as car seat belts, denim, and even thin metal, and minimizes the risk of injuring the patient while cutting clothing due to the wide tip.
 
550 Paracord Line - Made with 7 inner core 100% raw nylon materials combined with a minimum, Mil-Spec rated, 550 pounds of breaking strength.  Paracord has hundreds of applications. Used for barricading techniques, improvised tourniquets, patient transport, and more.
 
Glass Break Tool – A two in one emergency escape tool with integrated cutter for cutting clothing or paracord, a glass breaking tool, and a counter measure.

During ABC’S training barricade techniques are taught to help survive an Active Threat.  Under NO circumstances should a barricaded location be opened until law enforcement has secured the scene.  Given the size and scope of your organization it could take law enforcement hours to evacuate victims to an area where advanced medical care could be administered.  As such, each classroom and office space should be equipped to treat life threatening injuries.
